HOUSING
In her career as a Permit Expediter and Advisor, Nohe has participated in the production of single-family, workforce housing from start to finish - she knows how to create housing for the benefit of our community.
Nohe also understands the challenges facing local families, who are burdened with an increasing cost of living, a lack of housing options, and a confusing and bureaucratic system further adding to the stress of finding solutions.
There is no single silver bullet to fix this crisis. It will take all of us working together, partnering with public, private, and non-profit entities, using each other’s respective skillsets to identify and implement a host of solutions, because our problem is far too big for a single sighted approach.
Let’s stop letting perfect get in the way of good. Our residents need solutions now and we owe it to them to act.
BALANCED GOVERNMENT
Nohe is a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, and so much more – like all of us she is not one of those things, she is all of those things.
We can be pro-housing, without being anti-environment, and we can work together to create solutions that serve our community today with respect for our culture and our place.
Nohe wants to work collectively to identify the best solutions for our community, finding balance between our needs, our hopes, and our priorities.

Our different lived experiences, and shared values are what will help us find common ground for the good of Maui County.
Respect, kindness, and family are areas we all agree on as priorities. It is what we teach our children, and how we live and interact with one another. Nohe looks forward to working with all facets of our community, through these values to identify solutions that can be implemented today for all our friends, family, and neighbors.
